90 days. Ideate. Build. Ship. Grow.

Real product. Real revenue. A real business.

01

Ideate

Pick a real problem worth solving. AI helps you scope it.

02

Build

Build a working prototype using AI.

03

Ship

Deploy a business that operates with AI. Real users in production.

04

Sell

Market it. Grow it. Show the revenue.

AI is transforming everything, including what small teams can build. Operations that used to take entire engineering departments can now be written in plain English and executed by AI agents. By some estimates, the world’s 45 million software developers will grow to over a billion in the next few years. Everyone will be a developer, and we want to start now, with you. So show us: build a real business that makes real impact.

Requirements

Build a business in 90 days with real customers and real revenue. The hurdle: your business operates with AI in one of the categories.

Your business has to be operated by AI agents and must use at least one product from Google Cloud.

The Categories

Five categories spanning economic opportunity and professional access:

  • Education & Human Potential: Transforming how we learn, grow, and achieve our best.
  • Entrepreneurship & Job Creation: Fueling the tools that help new founders and economies thrive.
  • Small Business Services: Powering everyday businesses with tools to compete and win.
  • Money & Financial Access: Breaking down barriers to banking, capital, and financial freedom.
  • Professional Services Access: Connecting everyday people with the expert guidance they need.

What to Submit
  • GitHub repo shared with testing@devpost.com and judging@hacker.fund (Public or Private repositories).
  • 3-minute video that demonstrates the extent to which AI is live in production and executes key decisions.
  • Written narrative (500–1000 words) of how the team uses AI day to day, what humans do versus what AI does, the jobs and economic opportunities the business creates or enables for people beyond the founding team (actual and potential), and the story of building the business this way.
  • Revenue evidence such as a Stripe dashboard export or bank statement and simple P&L (template here). Projects must also include their corporate ID if available.
  • Expenses incurred during the hackathon period within your P&L (template here). This includes Marketing and customer acquisition spend to disclose total spend on marketing and customer acquisition during the hackathon period. This is used as a check on business viability and must be disclosed even if zero.
  • Product evidence showing agent execution logs, API usage records, screenshots of dashboards. Anything that strengthens the case that AI is running in production continuously.
  • Customer evidence such as contact info of real customers (name, email, phone) and any testimonials or feedback provided by customers of your project.

Judging Criteria

  • Business Viability
Teams must launch a real business during the hackathon, acquire real users, and generate real revenue. Judges assess both actual revenue achieved during the 90-day window and the sustainability of the underlying business model.
  • AI-Native Operations
Teams must run their business through AI. Judges assess the extent to which AI is live in production and executes key decisions.
  • Category Impact
Teams built something that meaningfully moves the needle in their chosen category — either by redefining how something works at a fundamental level, or by reaching a scale where widespread adoption is credible.
