Does an old project not releasing count as acceptable?

    Great question! For this hackathon, projects must be newly created after the start of the Submission Period (May 19 - Aug 17, 2026). A project created before that date is not eligible, regardless of whether it was publicly released or not. You’re allowed to reuse pre-existing templates, frameworks, boilerplates, or code, but you must clearly explain how your current project utilizes any pre-existing work in your submission description.     How can we submit a project where we are supposed to fill in "how we built it", if we haven't even gotten the credits to make it _beforehand_? Makes no sense? Am I missing something?
