How is Category Impact evaluated?

Is Category Impact judged relative to the category's existing baseline (e.g., the cost and accessibility of how the service is traditionally delivered), or primarily by the absolute scale/usage a project achieves during the submission window? Understanding the yardstick would help teams focus their remaining weeks. Thanks!

    Great question! Per the rules, Category Impact can be demonstrated in either of two ways — redefining how something works at a fundamental level (i.e., relative to the existing baseline), or reaching a scale where widespread adoption is credible (i.e., absolute traction). Judges can score on either path, so teams don't need to optimize for one over the other.
