Software ACAIS
Hi, first of all, I would like to ask about the creation of ACAIS software for aircraft accident investigation analysis research based on FDR data for the educational world. Is this considered eligible for the competition? My software is currently under development before we submit it to the NTSB or FAA for testing and to solicit suggestions or criticism. Secondly, this ACAIS software uses Gemini Ai for its algorithm coding and implementation using Python. Is this considered eligible?

Sorry for the delay here!
Thank you for your question! You can find the answer on the FAQ here (https://xprize.devpost.com/details/faq) under "PROJECT REQUIREMENTS". For this hackathon, projects must be newly created during the Submission Period (May 19 – Aug 17, 2026). A project that has been created before that date is not eligible, regardless of whether it was publicly released or not. You are allowed to reuse pre-existing generic templates, frameworks, boilerplates, or code snippets, but you must clearly explain how your project utilizes any pre-existing work in your submission description. There is no single required development platform. The main requirement is to "Build a business that operates with AI" and the project must use at least one product from Google Cloud. Review the full project requirements and judging criteria in the rules here: https://xprize.devpost.com/rules. Hope this helps!
